The New Hyundai Venue arrives in a fresh latest avatar with a myriad of smart revisions inside and out, and is available in an expansive range of variants to suit different buyers.

On the corporate side, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) recently reported a steady financial performance for the third quarter and the broader nine-month period of FY26. In that last quarter, Hyundai posted a consolidated revenue of Rs. 179,735 million, marking an increase of eight per cent year on year. Key profitability metrics also grew; Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter stood at Rs. 20,183 million–up 7.6 per cent–while the net profit after tax rose a healthy 6.3 per cent to Rs. 12,344 million. This solid financial footing often supports sustained investment in new products and updates for models like the Venue.

Market Momentum and the Venue’s Record-Breaking Debut

The company’s market performance showed positive momentum, with wholesale volumes improved sequentially thanks to strong festive demand and the positive impact of GST 2.0 which led to price drops. For the nine-month period ended December 2025, Hyundai recorded a healthy EBITDA of Rs. 66,325 million, showing a growth of 3.3 per cent over the corresponding period last year.

    New Hyundai Venue

On the product front, Hyundai reaffirmed its dominant leadership in the competitive SUV space, highlighted by the Creta regaining its position as the country’s highest-selling SUV after the midsize SUV crossed the impressive two lakh annual sales mark in calendar year 2025.

However, another major highlight has been the impressive response to the new generation Hyundai Venue. This popular compact SUV has already crossed 80,000 bookings in just over three months since order books opened, with a notable 48 per cent of the total demand coming from first-time buyers. This statistic, in my experience, is a clear indicator of a product successfully attracting a whole new audience to the brand.

Detailed Pricing, Dimensions, and a Tech-Loaded Cabin

The Venue now holds a wider price spectrum, priced from Rs. 7.89 lakh up to Rs. 15.48 lakh (ex-showroom), reflecting its broader feature set. Dimensionally, this latest compact SUV has notably grown compared to its predecessor, now standing 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider, which you can feel in a more spacious cabin.

Its exterior gets a much sharper design language, highlighted by a prominent dark chrome front grille, signature slim LED light bars, distinctive quad-beam headlamps, and sculpted surfaces that are complemented by stylish bridge-style roof rails.

Inside, the cabin receives a truly comprehensive overhaul. The new H-themed dashboard layout is dressed in a premium dual-tone Dark Navy and Dove Grey upholstery and features a modern floating centre console. The tech highlight is a pair of high-resolution 12.3-inch curved displays handling infotainment and instrumentation.

Crucially, it is equipped with the advanced Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS suite, featuring 16 driver assistance functions. Safety is bolstered along with six airbags, electronic stability control, powerful four-wheel disc brakes, and a TPMS.

Engine Choices, Commercial Moves, and Export Strength

Under the hood, the Venue offers buyers flexible powertrain options, which include a sensible 1.2-litre MPi petrol, a peppy 1.0-litre turbo GDi petrol, and a torquey 1.5-litre diesel engine. Looking at the bigger picture for Hyundai, the company has expanded its business footprint with a strategic entry into commercial mobility via the introduction of its Prime HB and SD taxi offerings.

Furthermore, exports continued to contribute in a big manner to the company’s overall performance, with overseas volumes rising a strong 21 per cent year on year in Q3 FY26. In fact, exports now account for a significant around 25 per cent of Hyundai’s total sales, showcasing its global reach.
