Last Chance: Kawasaki Versys-X 300 Benefits End Soon. Save Up to Rs. 46,000

Now is the time to buy the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 in India. For this month, benefits of up to Rs. 46,000 apply to both the 2025 and 2026 model year versions.

Looking at the Indian market, Kawasaki has just made their most accessible adventure bike a smarter buy. They’ve announced revised offers with new discounts and value-added benefits for the Versys-X 300, sweetening the deal considerably. From what I’ve seen, these offers apply to both the 2025 and 2026 model year motorcycles, but there’s a catch.

They are only valid until January 31, 2026, or until stocks run out. This creates a limited window for potential buyers. My advice? If you’re eyeing this capable parallel-twin adv tourer—Kawasaki’s smallest in the adventure segment—don’t wait too long. This is a prime chance to save on a proven machine before this India-specific promotion ends.

While the total benefits remain the same, the actual cash discounts you get differ between the two model years, which is a key detail to know. The MY2025 Versys-X 300 definitely attracts the higher immediate saving, with a strong up front discount of Rs. 30,000. This is effectively reducing its ex-showroom price to Rs. 3.19 lakh. In comparison, the newer MY2026 version is offered with a slightly lower price reduction of Rs. 20,000 and currently retails at Rs. 3.29 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). From a buyer’s perspective, if you want the maximum upfront saving, the 2025 model is the clear choice, but the 2026 model is right there if you prefer the latest version.

Looking beyond the straightforward price drops, Kawasaki is also offering a significant accessories package worth up to Rs. 46,000 with both model years. As a buyer, you can choose between two practical options: a sturdy centre stand for easy maintenance or a pair of hard panniers that together offer 34 litres of secure storage capacity. However, a crucial point from my dealings with showrooms is that the availability of these benefits may vary by dealership. Therefore, I’d strongly advise potential customers that they are encouraged to check locally with their nearest outlet for the exact details on what’s in stock and how to claim the offer, as the final price you pay can be influenced by these direct dealer-level variations.

Choosing Your Model Year: Colors & Compatibility

Picking between the two model years isn’t just about price. The newer MY2026 motorcycle brings a practical upgrade under the tank: it’s fully compliant with E20 fuel norms, which adds peace of mind for the future. It makes a bold statement with its single, eye-catching paint option of Candy Lime Green combined with Metallic Flat Spark Black. If you lean towards having more visual choices, the MY2025 variant comes in two classic colour schemes. Your choices are the energetic Candy Lime Green Type 3 with Metallic Flat Sparkle Black, or the more sophisticated Metallic Ocean Blue paired with Pearl Robotic White. From my experience, this decision often comes down to whether you value the latest technical specification or a broader selection of timeless aesthetics.

The 2026 Versys-X 300 was introduced in India in October 2025 and quickly saw a notable price correction of Rs. 31,000 from its earlier launch price. This solidifies its role as the entry point into the Versys family. Its relatively straightforward design becomes clear when stacked against its larger siblings, such as the Versys 650 and Versys 1100. From my perspective, this simplicity is a key feature, offering capable touring without the bulk or expense of the bigger models.

    The Core Mechanical Package

Powering the Versys-X 300 is a capable 296 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that generates a peppy 40 PS of power at 11,500 rpm and a useful 25.7 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. This smooth motor is paired with a precise six-speed gearbox that’s equipped with a very practical assist and slipper clutch to make gear changes and downshifts easier. Moving to the chassis, the Hardware highlights truly include a solid setup: a rigid backbone frame forms its foundation, supported by 41 mm telescopic front forks offering a decent 130 mm of travel, while the rear is handled by a gas-charged rear monoshock providing a generous 148 mm of travel. Having ridden on similar setups, this combination strikes a great balance for both asphalt stability and the ability to handle light off-road trails confidently.

This true adventure tourer rides on a purposeful wheel setup with a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear spoke wheel combination. It boasts a generous 180 mm of ground clearance, which, combined with upright ergonomics and a protective tall windscreen, makes it a confident companion. The 17-litre fuel tank adds to its touring capability. In practice, this thoughtful combination is what I’ve found making it well-suited for both light off-road use and comfortable highway cruising alike, allowing you to transition between different types of roads without a second thought.
