Citroën is using a unique, customer-first approach. The new Aircross X Max Turbo and C3 Live (O) will be sold only by confirmed booking.

Citroën India has now officially opened bookings for its two new variants, adopting a customer-centric strategy. The spotlight is on the top-tier Aircross X Max Turbo, a comfort-focused configuration positioned at the peak of the Aircross range, and the distinct C3 Live (O).

From what I’ve seen in the market, the key detail is that both models will be available strictly on a bookings-only basis. This means their entire production cycle is directly aligned to confirmed customer orders, ensuring your vehicle is built to your request rather than selected from dealer stock.

Inside the New Variants: Features & Pricing

Let’s dive into what these new models offer. The Aircross X Max Turbo 5-seater truly focuses on passenger comfort. Its five-seat layout provides enhanced second-row space, including an additional 60 mm of knee room. Rear passengers are treated to a centre armrest with integrated cupholders and a three-step reclining seatback.

For style, this variant is offered in sophisticated shades like Polar White, Deep Forest Green, and Perla Nera Black, paired with a Fauve Dark Brown interior upholstery. Pricing for this comfort-focused model starts at Rs. 12.41 lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual transmission.

Alongside this, Citroën has smartly launched the C3 Live (O) as a value-oriented variant positioned below the higher trims. This model comes equipped with a generous bundle of over ten added features right out of the box. You get practical upgrades like leatherette seats, a crisp 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, built-in speakers, and a rear-view camera.

On the outside, it gains a more finished look with chrome-accented fog lamps, full wheel covers, stylish body-side cladding with chrome inserts, and protective wheel-arch cladding.

How to Order and When to Expect Delivery

Bookings for both the Aircross X Max Turbo five-seater and the C3 Live (O) are now open across all Citroën dealerships in India. The latter, in particular, is a sharp new variant that’s available exclusively in the sleek Perla Nera Black and is priced at a competitive Rs. 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries for these models are expected to follow based on your booking order and availability, as the French brand operates under a new initiative where select variants are produced strictly against confirmed bookings – a smart move allowing the brand to respond quickly while keeping inventory disciplined.

This approach is a deliberate shift. Unlike the conventional dealer-led stocking model, Citroën’s new framework relies on a continuous listen–learn–launch loop. According to the brand, Inputs from retail trends, digital customer sentiment, and dealer-level insights are constantly analysed to guide variant creation and production planning. The result is a more flexible lineup that evolves with real customer demand, while also offering buyers clearer delivery timelines right at the point of booking.

    The Strategy Behind the Launch

Commenting on this new launch, Kumar Priyesh, Business Head and Director of Automotive Brands at Stellantis India, said the move is directly guided by the Citroën 2.0 strategy for India. The core idea is to listen more closely to what customers ask for, act quickly, and build accordingly.

By moving to a bookingsled mechanism for select variants, the company can better align its capacity with real demand, sharpen its portfolio, and bring stronger value to customers. The Aircross X Max Turbo (5seater) and C3 Live (O) are the first outcomes under this approach, with more rolling actions planned. He emphasized that this is just the beginning, as the brand aims to remain agile to future demand signals.
