From my experience tracking every launch from Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, the Update feels more meaningful than just another variant being introduced into the lineup. The Yezdi Roadster Red Wolf Edition arrives in March 2026, starting today, 3rd, at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 2.10 lakh, and it is already available across India through authorised dealerships.

This new Roadster in the range stands out with a distinct red colour and bold color theme, sharp chrome accents, and a refreshed trim option that clearly enhances the existing portfolio while retaining its trusted mechanical setup and core features. The motorcycle is powered by a 334cc engine, producing 28.77bhp and 29.63Nm torque, maintaining the strong performance riders expect, while the brand has clearly expanded choices without changing what already works.

In my view, this carefully added edition balances style and substance, keeping the familiar character intact yet giving the Roadster a sharper identity that justifies its priced positioning within the brand’s growing range.

    Design and Mechanical Overview

Power on the Yezdi Roadster Red Wolf Edition comes from the 334cc liquid-cooled engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox and assist and slipper clutch, and it develops 28.77bhp and 29.63Nm torque. This mechanical package is based on the standard model, and it remains unchanged without any major revisions, which many experienced riders actually prefer.

The configuration has been carried over, and it retains the strong and reliable character of the Roadster, making it familiar yet confident on every ride. From what I have noticed, this setup feels balanced, especially with the smooth response from the fuel system and the steady pull across the rev range.

Visually, the edition focuses on cosmetic updates. It introduces a bold red paint finish with chrome detailing on the exhaust, engine, and handlebar, while the bodywork and proportions stay true to the standard design. The Core design elements like the sculpted tank, bobber-style rear section, wide rear tyre with hugger, and centre-forward stance all remain intact. It also gets a classy brown seat and keeps its modular nature, allowing a quick switch between solo and pillion setups. In my experience, this thoughtful mix of style and familiarity makes the bike feel fresh while still clearly a Roadster at heart.

When Anupam Thareja, Co-founder of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, said the Red Wolf joins the pack of Roadsters, he highlighted how this India-born brand carries a name with stories from every decade. In India and across the world, this classic motorcycle stands true to its roots, forged in character and inspired by the 1970s palette of deep metallics and shining chrome.

The vintage swagger gives the rider a rare ability to look almost rakishly confident, without trying to invent an image. Over time, I have seen how the Roadster identity was carefully built, and the Yezdi Roadster Red Wolf Edition feels ready to gather its own following with strong performance and purposeful engineering made for modern roads.

The bike is underpinned by a double cradle frame, with telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers featuring adjustable preload. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm disc at the front and a 240mm rear disc, both supported by dual-channel ABS. The wheelbase spanning 1,440mm, ground clearance of 171mm, and seat height rated at 795mm and 790mm create a balanced stance. A 12.5-litre fuel tank adds touring comfort, while the overall section and stance of the Roadsters reflect careful features planning that blends structure and style.
