Based on my observation of the automotive industry, Royal Enfield’s big move for this year is to strategically roll out multiple new motorcycles for the Indian market. This includes launching several keenly-awaited new models, with the unique twist of advancing both their classic ICE-powered engines and entering the electric future with new EV platforms. It’s a clear, balanced plan for growth.

Looking at the numbers from my time covering the auto industry, Royal Enfield had a remarkable year in 2025. The brand achieved a massive milestone in the Indian market, with total sales hitting 1 million units for the calendar year (CY). Even more impressive was their domestic performance within the country, where they surpassed the 10 lakh units mark for the first time.

A big reason for this success was the company’s aggressive approach, having launched several fantastic new models last year in India, like the powerful Classic 650, the adventurous Himalayan 450 in a sleek Mana Black Edition, and the stylish Meteor 350 Sundowner Orange. Now, this year is shaping up to be just as exciting for Royal Enfield. Apart from their beloved conventional ICE motorcycles, they’re set to introduce their first-ever electric bike. In this piece, we will talk about these highly anticipated Royal Enfield motorcycles that are launching in India.

As someone who’s followed Royal Enfield’s evolution closely, the upcoming Bullet 650 is a fascinating blend of heritage and modern engineering. Having made its world premiere at EICMA 2025 and later showcased at Motoverse 2025 in India, this bike is expected to go on sale in the coming months.

True to its lineage, it carries the iconic signature Bullet styling, taking cues from the popular 350cc model. However, beneath that classic look, it’s sharing crucial cycle parts, features, and the engine with the Classic 650.

The list of notable features onboard is comprehensive for a modern classic: distinctive LED headlamps with twin “tiger-eye” pilot lamps, a classic teardrop fuel tank, a comfortable single-step-up bench seat, raised handlebars, adjustable levers, a USB type-C charging port, dual-channel ABS, and a semi-digital instrument cluster. It’s powered by the same robust 648cc parallel-twin engine, delivering a healthy top power of 46.4 bhp and the highest torque of 52.3 Nm, all paired with a smooth 6-speed gearbox.

Stepping into the bigger league, Royal Enfield is prepping its most significant adventure tourer yet. B Govindarajan, the CEO of Royal Enfield, has officially confirmed that the production-ready model of the Himalayan 750 will make its global debut at EICMA 2026 in Italy, following the pre-production prototype they unveiled at the previous edition.

Touted as the biggest ADV bike from the brand and its first in the 750cc segment, this adventure motorcycle is expected to go on sale by the end of 2026 in India. From what the prototype suggested, it’s likely to come with proper ADV hardware like 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, protective knuckle guards, an upswept exhaust, a front windscreen, and a high-performance Brembo-controlled Bybre disc braking system. Under the hood, it will be equipped with a 750cc, twin-cylinder, air/oil-cooled petrol engine designed to generate a power output in the ballpark of 55-60 bhp.

    Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6

Marking a historic pivot for the brand, the Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 is perhaps its most highly anticipated upcoming launch in India, representing their first all-electric model. We believe it is slated to go on sale by mid-2026 in the Indian market, and it has already been showcased several times in its production-ready form across the country.

While key details like the battery pack and range remain under wraps, most other info is available in the public domain. Designed and developed as a stylish urban commuter, the C6 comes with practical features like alloy wheels, classic round mirrors, a round LED headlamp, dual-channel ABS, and a distinctive forged aluminium Girder front fork.

In addition, it boasts a modern coloured digital touchscreen display packed with Bluetooth connectivity, built-in Navigation, Voice assist, and OTA updates. The bike only features a rider seat as a standard fitment, with the pillion seat being a detachable accessory.
