Suzuki e-Access: A Smart Choice for Electric Mobility in India

The Suzuki e-Access, the brand’s first-ever electric scooter in India, was launched last month with a price tag of Rs 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it one of the more expensive e-scooters from a mainstream brand in the Indian market. To make it more affordable for buyers, Suzuki has announced total benefits of up to Rs 19,800. These benefits include a loyalty bonus of Rs 10,000 and finance benefits of Rs 9,800, applicable across the country.

For non-Suzuki customers, there’s a welcome bonus of Rs 7,000 on the purchase of the e-Access, further adding to the appeal of this electric scooter.

    Suzuki e-Access: A Game-Changer in Electric Mobility

The Suzuki e-Access is locally developed at the brand’s factory in Gurgaon, Haryana. The bookings for this electric scooter began on Jan 9, 2026, and it is available for purchase through the Flipkart e-commerce platform, making it accessible across the country. Competing directly with models like the Ather 450 Apex, TVS iQube ST, and Ola S1 Pro+, the e-Access is positioned as a strong player in the Indian market. In its first month of launch in Jan 2026, 230 units of the e-Access were already sold, indicating its growing popularity.

Notable features of the e-Access include an all-LED lighting setup, dual-tone alloy wheels, and a lightweight chassis with an aluminium battery case. It also offers a 17L underseat storage area for extra convenience and has inner pockets in the front apron to store small belongings. For added ease, the multi-function starter switch comes as standard, allowing users to unlock or lock the seat, handle, and charging inlet lid—all features that make the e-Access a well-rounded choice for modern riders.

Suzuki e-Access: Advanced Features for Everyday Riders

The Suzuki e-Access is powered by a 3 kWh fixed Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack, offering an impressive range of 95 km on a single charge. Suzuki claims that the LFP battery provides a longer battery life compared to traditional Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) batteries. The e-Access is equipped with a 4.1 kW electric motor that generates a torque of 15 Nm, ensuring smooth and seamless acceleration even when the State of Charge (SOC) drops to just 10 percent. Charging the e-Access is simple too, with options for 240 DC fast chargers across the country and AC portable chargers available at over 1200 Suzuki dealerships in India.

As for style, the e-Access comes in four unique dual-tone colour schemes, including Metallic Mat Black No.2 + Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red, Pearl Grace White + Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray, Pearl Jade Green paired with Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray, and Metallic Mat Stellar Blue combined with Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray. This variety ensures there’s a colour for every rider’s preference while combining sleek design with cutting-edge performance.
