The MG Cyberster redefines the all-electric convertible roadster. It uses a powerful dual e-motor drivetrain and a 77 kWh battery to launch from 0 to 100 kmph in a staggering 3.2 seconds, delivering instant, silent performance that changes the open-top experience.

Adding a fresh layer of exclusivity, JSW MG Motor India’s luxury retail arm, MG Select, has introduced a stunning new exterior colour for the Cyberster called Irises Cyan. This newly revealed shade is a masterclass in detail, uniquely combining a blue and green tone that seems to shift in different light.

It’s not just paint; it’s been specially calibrated to interact with both light and the car’s own motion on the road. In person, this effect embellishes the car’s flowing aerodynamic surfaces and sharp overall design, dramatically upping its visual presence and perfectly aligning with the brand’s push for bold, dynamic identity.

Design & Palette: Where Heritage Meets Electric Edge

The Cyberster’s design philosophy isn’t born in a vacuum; it draws heavily from MG’s storied past, using the iconic MG B Roadster as its spiritual foundation. That classic model’s design purity and motorsport roots are reimagined into a sharp, modern interpretation that’s undeniably futuristic yet respectful.

This philosophy extends to its vibrant exterior colour options, which go beyond the new Irises Cyan. Buyers get a curated range of expressive dual-tone schemes: bold choices like Nuclear Yellow and Flare Red are coupled with a contrasting black roof, while more understated shades such as Andes Grey and Modern Beige are elegantly matched with a red roof.

Critically, these are purely aesthetic choices with no mechanical changes. Underneath, it remains the thrilling all-electric convertible roadster that uses a powerful dual e-motor drivetrain and a substantial 77 kWh battery pack. And let’s not forget the show-stopping party piece: those dramatic, unique scissor doors that complete its head-turning persona.

Powertrain & Performance: The Electric Heart

Under the skin, the MG Cyberster features a sophisticated powertrain with a motor mounted on each axle. This setup generates an impressive maximum output of 510 PS and 725 Nm of instant torque, which enables this electric roadster to sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in a blistering 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 kmph. To enable its sporty handling, the two-door model boasts a balanced near 50:50 weight distribution and an advanced double-wishbone front suspension system, giving it the poise of a true driver’s car.

Battery, Charging & Dimensions: The Practical Side

Equipped with an ultra-thin 77 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the Cyberster offers a substantial claimed range of 580 km on a single charge. As a modern electric sportscar, it supports both AC and DC fast charging; using a 150 kW DC fast charger, you can charge the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in approximately 40 minutes. Dimensionally, it has a compact yet aggressive stance with an overall length of 4535 mm, a width of 1913 mm, a low height of 1329 mm, and a wheelbase of 2690 mm, which contributes to its stable and agile driving dynamics.

    Interior, Features & Price: A Tech-Focused Cabin

Step inside the Cyberster, and you’re greeted by a driver-focused triple-screen cockpit layout. This modern interior centers on a crisp 10.25-inch central display flanked by two 7-inch screens, putting key information right in your line of sight. The list of notable features is extensive, enhancing both luxury and safety.

It includes a quick power-operated soft-top roof, stylish 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in grippy Pirelli P-Zero tyres, and comprehensive Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for confidence on longer drives. Comfort is handled by a premium Bose audio system, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, and a practical 360-degree camera unit. All this cutting-edge technology and style comes at a price, with the car priced at Rs. 74.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
