You can also proactively verify if your motorcycle is a part of recall by entering your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on their official website.
The potential issue for the CBR650R is quite specific, concerning its turn signal assembly. In certain units, the wiring component inside could come into contact with a metal part. Over time, prolonged vibration from riding could eventually cause a short circuit. This fault would result in some lights failing to operate, a scenario that clearly does not comply with regulatory safety standards. The bikes that could be impacted are motorcycles manufactured between December 16 2024 and May 04 2025.
