The popular Mahindra Bolero Camper and its sibling, the Bolero Pik-Up, have received a practical update. This refresh focuses on meaningful design tweaks and added features for these two hard-working CVs, ensuring they stay relevant and capable for their core users.

The recent update for the popular Mahindra Bolero Camper and the Mahindra Pik-Up range brings two critical, real-world upgrades. The Bolero Camper is now equipped with advanced iMAXX telematics—a boon for fleet managers. Meanwhile, the Bolero Pik-up has finally gained air conditioning and heating, drastically improved driver comfort in all weather conditions. From my time with these vehicles, these changes address the most common gripes, making this launched version genuinely more capable for its commercial duties.

    A Smarter, More Connected Workmate

The latest Mahindra Bolero Camper now comes equipped with genuinely useful smart tech. The highlight is the advanced connected technology of the iMAXX telematics system, which provides real-time insights to improve fleet efficiency and management. Inside the cabin, a music system with Bluetooth calling adds convenience and much-needed entertainment for the driver. These features represent a significant step forward, making this model not just a vehicle, but a connected tool for business.

Mahindra has significantly boosted value by standardized several features across all variants. The focus is squarely on comfort and practicality, with a recliner driver’s seat with headrest, a wider co-driver seat for extra comfort, and essential additions like central locking and rear seat belts. A full climate control system—includes air conditioning and a heater—ensures a suitable environment in all weather conditions, while even rear passengers benefit from proper headrests.

Powering this capable model is the proven 2.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine, offering a choice of 2WD and 4WD options. This power mill is capable of pushing out a peak power of 80 hp at 3200 rpm and a strong maximum torque output of 200 Nm between 1400-2000 rpm. Having driven it, this torque band is perfect for load-carrying, providing ample pull without strain. The exterior completes the package with a refreshed design, featuring new decals, body-coloured ORVMs, and door handles for a more modern look.

Mahindra has also added heating and air-conditioning systems, ensuring essential convenience in all weather conditions, which truly helps elevate the daily driving experience.
